The "bloodless" legal coup China performed on Hong Kong didn't have a lot of forewarning for the avg person. I suspect China will do the same w/ Taiwan. I've known 16 yr olds who held jobs, full time school, saved up and travelled abroad for a mo- yr alone. If you believe in the 16 yr old & the month they visit is w/in the next 6-9 mo's, go for it. Prognosticating further with accuracy is risky.
