I don't think this is how it works in Splatoon lore, but fuck it, I'ma take some creative liberties.
The sorta 'insides' of an inkling - like the mouth -, it's red + a tint of whatever their ink color is.
So, say, if the ink color is purple, the mouth and tongue would be a sorta purplish red.
