Grandson No 2 and his fiancé just went unconditional on the purchase of their first home today. No parental assistance and they’ve been paying rent while they saved. They’ve sacrificed a lot that young people take for granted and they haven’t been picky about what they bought. (They also have a veg garden which has helped with the grocery bill. ) They chose a standard 3 beddie brick and tile that needs a bit of TLC. He’s a tradie as are his brother and Dad.
