Sometimes fat-positivity can go a little too far into skinny-people-shaming. Like, jokes about how thin people are cold, or vain, or how they're so sad and grumpy because they deny themselves food. Being body positive means not insulting or shaming any body shape, because we are all born with different genetics and it's not something one can really control.
Those of us who don't have the standard ‘media-worthy’ body types all deal with similar struggles. Sure, some struggles are worse, but it's not a contest of who is suffering more, we're all in this together. We're trying to create a culture where people's personality traits are not judged by their weight, and we all have to do our part if we want change.
