10 x 15 cm linocut study for a larger work called ‘Firmament, Fourth Day’. I cut this as I’ve been working on a lot of different compositions and needed to think through the combination of black line and white line. The proof is on 250 gsm Somerset Satin paper and the ink is Cranfield letterpress Seville Black. They combine well to give a granular quality to the dark ground.
