I wasn't going to talk about the genocide, mostly because it is emotionally taxing.

I make the case to my family that Palestine has done very little wrong (putting the Oct 7 atrocities aside, because some of those clearly were wrong). They didn't choose their oppressor... they didn't choose the Jews to fight with. All they ever did was get rounded up and then fight back. Whereas Zionists intentionally flooded into someone else's land, militarily terrorized Britian until they left, used high pressure tactics (and blackmail) to get the UN to vote for the partition plan, militarily expelled Arabs from "their half", slaughtered entire villages, refused to accept the natives as part of their new nation (supremacy), deceived the world into thinking the root problem is that Arabs hate Jews, treat non-Jews as subhuman, ethnically cleanse them, violently disallow and destroy all of their infrastructure, recently levelling the entire place, shut off water and food and medicine, executed aid workers one by one, killed many children by shooting them in the head..... I cannot for the life of me think how anybody could support Israel in this.
