One thing that would help to guide meaningful discussions of Valencia would a comprehensive data gathering project
- how many businesses on the corridor use food delivery services
- count of food delivery vehicles, details on where they stop
- numbers and map of serf mobile activity, incl where do they come from/go to, how many passengers, where the vehicles stop to load/unload
- how many people live there, how many cars do they have, where do they park, how many deliveries (and what kind) do they get
- when and how do the businesses get deliveries
- etc.
Basically a total picture of all the activity relevant to a consider of possible pedestrianization, or even significant reduction in cars.
And per points previously made, we'd also need to look at, at a minimum, the cross streets for a block in either direction.
Then we could really PLAN!
