There's substantial grounds for believing that trustworthy decisionmaking requires the ability to reason & we're equally certain that reasoning cannot arise from simply crunching enough data.
Ergo, there is no way for us to ever be able to trust any of the currenct approaches to "artificial intelligence". Ever.
Also, if your response is "I don't trust humans either" you deserve being pulped by whatever robot overlords will arise thanks to your lack of understanding.
