You can't please all the people any of the time. And some people not only refuse to be pleased, they will go out of their way to share their personal brand of hostility with you. It seems there is no solution to this; some people just want to sh*t all over someone else.
So, you have to post what you like and (try to) ignore haters. At least there are quite a few genuinely supportive people around here. Enough to make it worthwhile? That's the question we each have to answer.
