Writing is an art and a craft & the art means people may have differing interpretations based on the baggage they bring with them. I respect their right. It’s what makes art the creative pinnacle of human expression. It opens minds.
There aren't, though, absolutes, nor imposed opinions.
As the writer, I’d be up for a respectful discussion about meaning, even if I disagree, but my intent remains.
