One of the interesting things to watch for in the new Cabinet is the appointment of new Ministers for Equalities and for Women.
Liz Truss started the trend for these portfolios to be a part time job alongside other Cabinet level roles so a full time Minister will show Labour’s priorities.
The new Minister will have to find a new chair and board for the EHRC, restore the advisory panels on LGBTI+ and disabled rights, and draw up a ban on conversion therapy.
