I spend weeks wondering when it is okay to call my mum (even though I know it’s always okay) but still feel like I need some reason. They invented all these seasonal events so that there is always a reason!
I think this is why people bring up the weather too, it’s always there so there is always some topic and you can be like “I’m hope you’re well in this heat/cold/rain/snow/hot-hail etc”
