I can think of few people less inspirational than Mitch McConnell. But that is actually why I am posting this: McConnell knows what is going on behind the scenes in DC, and even if we know nothing else, we know this man will never take a principled stand. If he is showing "backbone" against #Trump on support for #NATO and #Ukraine, that is a real ray of hope. It means that he thinks he can take this stand and have political support. 🤞🏼
