I'm thinking of leaving Mastodon. I love the concept and salute everybody involved in the project, but I just don't find I'm having any meaningful interactions.

My feed is full of posts with no replies. I just checked the 'explore feed' and it's mostly posts with no replies too.

For every original post I make, I make sure to reply to at least three. But it's starting to feel like a waste of time.

I came here looking for an alternative to Twitter. Maybe that alternative is to just read a book.
