- I never tire of watching a Great Blue Heron. A large bird, with long legs and what appears to be an even longer neck that can tuck in close to its body, it is a prolific catcher of fish and also small mammals that may live along the shoreline.
Spotting this beauty on the shores of Lunenburg Nova Scotia's harbor was a treat for this bird watcher.
