I've had cats all my life, until the past 15 years. Usually one or two, but my aunt had a herd of 30+ at one point, was doing good after the last one died of old age in that she had the one, then slowly started it up again collecting strays, until she left me with a herd of 22 to find homes for when she died in 2007. In my view, 4 max, no exceptions.

Cats are silly. They get the zoomies, feeling the need for speed, then suddenly plop over. The happier they are, the more playful they get. What they're doing to you is, believe it or not, a great thing, because it means you're treating them right and they're happy. Bang the blinds? Fun, because NOISE! Attack the leg! RAWR! I'm an ambush predator! Hee hee!
