I want to get beaten and bloodied up by the police while protesting. Their threats of violence won't work if I welcome the violence. I want to go out protesting for human rights and come back limping with broken bones and a face that looks like I dipped my head in a bucket of red paint. I want to be brutalized in every way imaginable and unimaginable, and it won't phase me because I'll know I'm on the right side of history. I gain my greatest ecstasy when suffering for the greater good.
