georgia (nprofile…zqs9) FedEx, UPS, and DHL have reliably demonstrated that privatization is generally just a bad idea. You get equal or worse service for like 30x the price, as a consumer. Granted, USPS is heavily subsidized. Yet, still. It provides a publicly useful service which the free market would otherwise gouge over.
