They needed lyric books for that? That was just a bunch of aggressive, bass-laden shouting. You could hear that at a zoo - literally, larger primates make noises in the same neighborhood as that. Look at the conductor (coonductor, more like) at the front swinging his arms in ecstatic gesticulation.
