all i have are buff orps and silver laced wyandottes, and this would be my second year owning chickens at all give or take maybe 3rd i guess, i got a hen who seems to be perpetually broody these days, she mothers the cockrels and pullets if there are any, and sits eggs when i leave htem out there, she also pecks my shoe when i pick up her babies. lol.
