Curator of Mastodon.art fediblock :newt: (npub1wc2…4sk7) IDK, AFAIR CVS was such a PITA to set up and use I resorted to just copying source trees as directories then modifying them
SVN however was kinda easier to use, still I didn't really have a need for a full blown VCS back then (mid 2000s)
