I see #BernieEcclestone has pleaded guilty to #tax #fraud (involving lies about his beneficial ownership of £400mn in overseas 'investments') & while getting a suspended sentence will pay a £625mn settlement (which includes a tax penalty of £330mn).
The real story here, is that like so many other rich people he was given ample opportunity by the HMRC to fess up, but rather arrogantly ignored a number of 'opportunities' & so they finally launched a criminal investigation...
