When we tried to get the booster this spring (it having been > 6 months since our last ones) we were told we couldn’t have them because we weren’t yet 65, despite having risk factors (but are not severely immune compromised). My husband has since had his 65th bday, but we both plan to get the new booster when it becomes available (& take our usual precautions meanwhile). The new one is supposed to be effective against the two most prevalent/ new variants.
