Growing up I was very aware of what happened at Twyford Down, it was on our local news screens every night. Swampy became an overnight hero. And I think it was my first awakening that I sided far more with the activists than our so called elected government.

But I must confess until reading this I was unaware of the Battle of Claremont Road.
