We have to keep using GIF because of Apple’s policy in Safari. Safari will auto play gifs, but is much more picky about autoplaying mp4. The majority of internet users base their entire attention and decisions on video, and if you don’t autolay video for them, they will quickly switch back to instagram or TikTok.
