It’s an odd design. It’s a two way speaker with two large woofers and a tweeter that goes down to 1,000hz. They used this tweeter that goes pretty low so they could have a simpler crossover and be able to use super high end parts on the crossover. Three way would have doubled the complexity and cost. It’s a two way speaker that produces bass down to 23hz. You can easily go without a subwoofer, which is unusual for a two way speaker.
