House Republicans have elected a MAGA extremist as Speaker. His support for an abortion ban, cuts to Social Security & Medicare, opposition to marriage equality and election denial are deeply alarming.

If that is the House agenda, I will fight it every step of the way.

The country wants us to move forward responsibly. It is time for the GOP to abandon extremism and work with us to serve the people.
