I’m not arguing they shouldn’t be accepting it or capable of; I’m simply explaining why it’s a hurdle.
Usually the non-fiat giving are one time or special use cases such as for larger donations for specific campaigns or bequeaths.
I know churches who still don’t do text to tithe…so if we can’t get them to do that it’s going to be harder to get them to accept BTC that has custody processes and conversion steps.
Now…a simple strategy would be to put some BTC on a multi-sig wallet and give it to them…say, I’m donating this to the church to be used as needed.
I’d recommend utilizing it in ABC fashion (ie keep some BTC on the books)
And btw, I’m more than willing to help train a few of the key staff on how to manage it.

They most likely won’t turn down “money”. 😎
But you have to set them up for success. Meaning you can’t expect them to figure it out, you have to demonstrate and lead it for them
