I was born with just a lil’ peanut in the right side of my head. Wrote the age of 3, I had cosmetic surgery (lol) to give me some semblance of an outer ear. My ear canal (middle ear) is also not functional.
This surgery did not fix my hearing, and did NOT resemble an actual human ear—more like just extra scrunched up skin on the side of my head, and it gave me an ear lobe.
