Last year for the Kelowna fires, they were also pretty good at explaining why they couldn't let people back in right away and what were the criteria for re-opening an area of town. And they did re-open small parts one at a time and that showed progress instead of authorities just claiming "not yet" with no explanation.
Tomorrow will be critical for doing that for Jasper residents.
