Today's addition to my #TwinCities #Croissant Quest!
Almond Croissant from Tout Les Jours (Richfield, MN)
- Double baked variety.
- Flaky exterior, a few almonds were slightly burned, but not unpleasant.
- Decent amount of powdered sugar, but not buried in it.
- Frangipane inside? maybe? might be vanilla custard. It has no discernable almond flavor, but it's sweet and creamy and pleasant enough. Just not almond forward.
