Today's observation:
Many #FLOSS projects including (but not limited to) Linux distros do not offer #torrent files anymore. The only explanation I can think of is wanting to track the number of downloads, but that is a bad measure because people can share the installer as well.
Having torrent file not only help you to reduce the load from your server (meaning you pay less money), but also provide a good opportunity for volunteers to help your project by seeding.
Please consider offering them.
