#Russia channels are hyping “full liberation od #Sudzha” right now, only a few war against “premature enthusiasm”. There certainly seems to be plenty of hype and outright confusion, because some Russian channels report the same video with barely visible figurines as “our recon in the Sudzha center” and “enemy fleeing from Sudzha center” (“fleeing” north, by the way…).
The only verifiable videos posted by #Ukraine Petrenko show Russians actually advancing in the north of Sudzha in #Zazulevka and #Kubatkin, and - more worryingly - Dmitryukov, Makhnovka and Zamostye, which suburb of Sudzha.
In any case, Ukraine forces don’t seem to be controlling “Eastern Sudzha” any more, that is the part of the town adjacent to the railway. The speed of Russian advances seems to suggest that their pipeline incursion wasn’t such a failure after all, and either even the advance group did their job, or the whole “failure” was simply a disinformation.
What we’re watching is a very dynamic situation cloaked by the “fog of war” so let’s just wait for more information.
