The kind of op-eds an outfit runs will tell you a lot about how they treat the news. No journalistic outfit that cares about accurately communicating events will print blithe lies or spread obvious propaganda just because it's an "opinion".

Beware institutions that harp about "objectivity" in journalism, because what they mean is that they do not value accurate communication. Instead they value a particular kind of etiquette informed by what they feel the status quo is or ought to be. Journalistic "objectivity" is a propaganda term.
