Drew DeVault would reject a patch if he doesn't like the ideological leanings of a submitting party. He would not even give them audience, as was his position on the FDO/Red-Hat brouhaha. That is bigotry.
Vaxry, on the other hand, would accept or reject a patch by the contents of the patch and only by the contents of the patch. He would give audience to anyone when discussing technology. That is, I believe, the ideal to which we must all strive.
