I've done one behavior change online that has made using web software better.
After I do an action (like, comment, post, etc), I wait a couple of seconds before closing or moving on.
Why?
There is so much optimistic UI out there that will make you think there was no error when in reality there actually was. And so often it's badly implemented or has a very long error timeout.
