I think i know why i had no fun playing that game yesterday. It was an RPG, and maybe because it's just so similar to life? Doing tasks, building stuff or learning something to do the first two. I already do that, no point in trying to simulate it. Just a fantasy setting isn't enough make up to change its essence, a simulation of reality.
I guess that's why most people move on from games, RPGs specifically. I could try other kinds of games, but i'd rather just pick a book and read it for the story. Gameplay doesn't really spark any interest from me
