there is this trend in book covers - they make them cartoonish. it happens in every genre. I'm not a big fan personally. I prefer covers to be more individual? not so generic? personal esthetic choices aside, it's hard to distinguish what's inside. the other day, I was looking at a completely innocent cover with a cartoonish couple sweetly looking at each other. upon further inspection, I realised that it was porn.
