The girl is about 11 yrs old and said the teacher told them they can be trans'd without telling their parents. Now "mom" is all worried, but has a problem with Trump. Her husband got her out of China. He's American and doesn't like Trump's deportation agenda. Of course he influences her, but it's an odd situation that she doesn't feel safe. Another neighbor & I are trying to explain things, including turning off fake news.
