The rc shell has all the advantages (sane programing language with good design) of this new "language that compiles to sh" but doesn't need to bw compiled.
Plus you get all the plan9 user space tools that automatically make your scripts portable to any system where you can install plan9port (almost all, I even have it on android's termux).
