there was this punk kid i used to work with at a code shop. he had a messy haircut that was dyed fun colors and VERY active at the local makerspace. he was also super bright and i was like five years his senior but already jealous of seeing how smart he was and how far he could go
it's fifteen years later and i visited his linkedin. he's in leadership, has a mustache, and left a comment somewhere that said "Way to go, Ted"
