"content": "Statements that are demonstratable only intersubjectively are useless to formulate public policy. Reasoning about health and security abstractly is pointless and invites anti-intellectualism. Economists at least try to account for incentives and behavior but their epistemological standards allow for ideologically motivated conclusions. Only empiricism offers any hope of establishing minimally subjective evidence for actionable policy.",
