What I find openly parasitic about the AI search engine process is that it directly copies and pastes text from its sources without even rewording things. That's bad enough, but in many cases those sites need ad revenue to survive and AI will wither their traffic and eventually kill them off. I don't know of any opt-out process either. This means it's going to poison the very well it draws from and erase its own sources eventually
