I have been rewatching The Good Place, and one thing keeps bugging me ever since I first saw the finale of the 1st season: how the heck was Michael's plan supposed to proceed if it didn't come to an end here? Clearly they are ramping up the theatrics leading up to that point, but this was supposed to go on for *checks notes* all eternity, but Michael had been shoveling on misery since the beginning.
