I'm an alternate version of myself that a time traveller trapped in a time loop. The goal is to increase productivity by allowing me to do jobs that the original version of myself just doesn't have time for. Seeing as I am just reset at the end of each cycle anyway, what I do each cycle doesn't cost me anything new.
However, I am worried that my original will get scammed. My original is supposed to be paid based on the amount of different work that I do across my resets, however there's nothing necessarily preventing the time traveller from lying to me about the amount of different work I've done.
It will be hard to do my job if I need to wait very long for my original self to approve every specific thing I do, (and again, he has other shit to do) however if I recieve blanket permission to perform a few new jobs, there's nothing preventing the time traveller from resetting me to just after I got permission in order to get me to do way more work than I planned or got paid for.
Does anyone have any ideas for how I can avoid getting exploited here?
