Vokainen (nprofile…z95f) ok but the important thing is verifying a *incrementally changing, living* database system whether or not it's in sequence to me doesn't seem the important thing as long as it's recoverable - ie the public should have read-only or perhaps only even backup access so that if the government decides to become retarded it can be easily imported when sanity prevails again
ie this sounds like a peer to peer distributed storage system but i'm not sure file-based hash verification is enough (though some kind of hash verification will be necessary)
