We're not gathering together this year but it's all OK, no feuds.

My sister is undergoing radiation which has left her exhausted, scared and a bit cranky. Don't blame her.
My neuro-diverse son is too triggered by noisy family events, would only stay an hour at best so he's gets a pass too.
My surviving brother is on the left coast with his wife, kids and grands.
Frankly, I'm not a big turkey eater and sort of enjoy the goofy wild turkeys I see here once i a while. 🦃 But I do love pumpkin pie, so I'm making one just for me, today.

For my "No thanks, Thanksgiving" I bought myself portions of an expensive delicacy from the sea 🦀and will have that instead.

I'll watch the parade, maybe a portion of a football game, read, take a short nap , stream something and eat my fine meal. I'm a very good cook.

I'm thankful for my modest home, food in the house, safety, health, good neighbors, calls and texts from family, a handful of old friends and hope we all survive the coming administration. Hope your holiday is as sweet, wherever you are. 💖
