Mum died last week, so I spent the weekend doing arrangements and going through mum’s possessions - things she chose to take to the rest home with her last year, to make sure precious things go to the best person.
There are three packets of photos - about a dozen old ones of her as a child, her wedding and her parents. Then there is one of my two brothers’ families and one of me. Then there are 500 photos of the dogs and cats she has had over the years.
