Made the first cactus from the kit and, um, it looks a little questionable to say the least. Did not put a face on it. I think that would be even worse.
So, kit review so far: the yarn kinda sucks, the hook is basic but good, the pattern is really well written (the design, however...), the needle that comes with it is useless (the eye is way too small), and there is barely enough stuffing for one cactus but they say there are enough supplies to make two.
It was on sale, so I ended up paying about $15 and have twelve patterns and some okay supplies.
