I’ve had my PC for 10 years.

I only use it to write and watch a bit of YouTube and it serves that need well. I want to learn how to code.

I’m still running on a 1st gen i7 and feel it’s time to upgrade.

Just wondering if it’s necessary before I start learning?

Any upgrade recommendations are welcome, think I need to upgrade motherboard etc too.

Maybe better to just buy another PC but I have this sick Batman case I’m reluctant to say goodbye to.
